A Look into the Search Engine Prospect of Bing

Google has dominated the field of search engine optimization till date. It has been a prominent search platform for billions of visitors from different parts of the world. Microsoft launched Bing on 3rd June to compete with Google and claim for the crownship of best search engine. It is said that Bing is more user friendly than its counterpart, Google. Just as Rome was not built in a day, it will take Bing time to touch Google in the race of search engines.
Bing is packed with quite a few new features that distinctly pop up in its result pages on a particular search. Like other search engines, it leads to result pages with different categories like news, images, videos etc on a relevant search. Like no other search engines, Bing lists all the categories in the left hand column with other results related to the categories in the right side bar for your convenience. On hovering the mouse over the categories on the left side, pop-ups appear with small abstract images of the categories. It helps you decide whether to click your way to a category or not.
Bing is friendly for not only users but also websites. Websites optimized with adherence to specific parameters of search engine optimization are easy to locate in Bing. There are some measures of optimization to make a website rank well in the search result pages of Bing. Websites with two relevant keywords per page, a unique title and Meta description, and H1 tags on each page are in tune with Bing bot. Text navigation link and URL strings with keywords are among the criteria of Bing for website promotion. Bing determines the page ranking of a website depending more on the quality than quantity of its back links.
